Channel Issues

For those of you who are not aware, #Survivors On The Net (UK) is in the process of becoming a non-profit registered charity.It is a voluntary project set up in May 1996 to meet the needs of survivors of childhood abuse and are now reaching out for help dealing with the long term consequences.

#Survivors aims to:

•Provide a 24 hr chat room with people there to help and support you

•Contribute to the prevention of present and future abuse of children and adults

•Raise the awareness of individuals, professionals and the wider population to issues around abuse

•To provide where possible, aid to those in abusive situations

•To offer help and support to survivors and or their partners

•To provide a newsletter on a monthly basis via email and published on-line

For those that are new to the channel, I apologise if there is not always someone there. This is something that I have been trying to remedy. Please bear with us as we try to improve the service that #Survivors provide.

If you have any problems whatsoever the Operators will be only to happy to talk with you in private. For those that wish to discuss anything with me, I guarantee to be in the channel on Fridays 7pm - 12pm GMT and Saturdays 10am - 2pm and 7pm-12pm GMT.
